Jewellery Care
All our jewellery is tested to ensure they can be worn over an extended period; however they, all metals will naturally oxidize over time and do require maintenance.
Our jewellery, created with 18k gold plating infused on a Stainless Steel base, can be worn in water; however, we encourage you to follow these simple instructions to get the most wear out of your May I jewellery pieces.
JEWELLERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Cleaning:
- Lightly wipe your jewellery with a jewel cloth to remove any unwanted chemicals from the surface. May I jewellery provides each purchase with a jewellery cleaning cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or cleaners that aren’t specifically made for gold-plated jewellery.
- Jewellery cloths can be used to polish and bring back the shine of your pieces.
Avoid:
- Do not spray perfumes directly onto your jewellery. Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, and body/hair sprays.
- Avoid chemicals from lotions, sunscreens, etc.
- To increase longevity, avoid swimming and showering in jewellery.
- Do not store your jewellery in high moisture rooms like bathrooms, etc.
- Our jewellery, created with 18k gold plating infused on a Stainless Steel base, can be worn in water; however, we recommend not wearing it in the ocean or chlorine pools.”
